Happy Birthday Chad!! the big 3-0 AHHH

Chad turned 30 and I cannot believe it. Eventhough I am not 30 it still kind of makes me feel old. I can't believe we are getting to this point in our lives. This was his better-than-anything cake that he just loves. It wasn't much of a birthday but we will make it up to him someday! I love him very much and I am grateful that he was born and that he is my husband!!!

We bought some corn the other night for dinner and it was big. Here is Gentry and Calen trying to get their mouths around the cob.

We had to get a picture of what Calen did to himself while throwing a fit! He was so mad at his Dad for getting after him he was just crying dragging his head on the floor. So he woke up with this terrible rug burn. It was pretty funny.

4th of July Fun!!!

We had two nights of fun with fireworks. On Friday we had our neighborhood show which is really fun. Everyone comes and brings fireworks for the show. It went on for like an hour and 20 mins or so. And people always bring the really good ones. Then there is dessert and drinks for us to share. Then on Sat. night we went to the river for the show that melaluca puts on every year. It is supposed to be one of the best. Melaluca spends about a million dollars on the show every year and the river is just packed with people coming to watch. In fact it took us over an hour to get home from it.

Calen loved the sparklers. He burned both Chad and I with them because he was being so crazy with them. Gentry was loving them too this year but she was a lot more careful with them.

I know people are going to think these are so ugly but I thought they were so funny. We were a little board and in a goofy mood one night- can you tell?
