Fun at the Fair

This is the Idaho State Fair. It is fun to go to. We love to go and eat the food!!

The top picture is Brock, Chad's sisters boy, he and Calen are about 4 months apart and Calen gets so excited when Brock comes around him. Then there is Klair, Chad's brothers girl, who lives in our same street. She and Gentry love to play together.

Cruisen around

Remember when you thought that these were the coolest things ever? Gentry's little friend has one and they think that this is the funnest thing on the block.

Here is Chad and Gentry harvesting our peas. They sat outside for a couple of hours just getting the peas out of their pods. Gentry thought that was so fun.

Poor Calen had thrush and had to get this sick purple stuff every night. And every night he would throw up all over and have purple all over his body for a day.

Another horse race

I decided that I would try something new on Gentry's hair. I gave her a bath one night then when it was still a little damp I put a bunch of little twists in it. This is what we pulled out in the morning. I thought it was kind of funny but her and her dad and grandpa thought it was so cute. Once it calmed down a little bit it was pretty cute.

I am sitting up now!!!

Calen has been kind of a late bloomer with things. First of all because he loves his thumb and that suites him better than any toys and second because he loves for his mom to hold him as often as possible. I have decided it is ok if he learns how to crawl and walk late because I have heard that boys get into a lot more stuff than girls.

Playing in the Rain

I took Gentry out into the rain. She thought that was the coolest and funnest thing ever. We had to run out there like 5 times.

Here is our four generation pictures. This is my Grandma Miller. She is such a sweet lady. I love her so much. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful grandma who raised for me a wonderful mother.

My Dad and all his siblings but one. This was the Welch family reunion. This is Dallin Greaves (my sisters boy) he was so cute sneaking food. This is Gentry after eating an ice cream cone.

I guess I'm a real cowgirl now

Chad has been doing this with our Ranch boys this summer so the family all thought that we would come out and do it with them. It was so fun. We had a timed race where we had to ride the horses around the orange cones and run back. It was pretty scary but fun. I didn't get a bad time either. Then after that we had a relay race with teams. The main riders (my brother-in-laws) Jed and Casey had to pick up the riders and run back. It was crazy. In fact Casey (who is like 6'4) was trying to pick Chad up and the horse did not want that much weight on her so she just bucked them both right off. We were all dying laughing at that one.
